Shock is the state of inadequate perfusen of the vital organs like brain,liver,kidneys etc. due to reduction in the cardiac output. Causes:- 1- loss of blood 2- loss of plasma 3- loss of electrolytes Cardiogenic- cardiac arrest cardiac tamponade acute pulmonary embolism Neurogenic- anaesthesia pleural wound testicular trauma psychic stimuli Clinical Features:- 1- signs due to low cardic output 2- signs due to diminished perfusion to the vital organs
